As a representation of our commitment to a sustainable environment we have
adopted several practices that will help to preserve our natural resources.
Vegetable-based inks
BPI Media Group uses Hostmann-Steinberg vegetable-based inks.
Hostmann-Steinberg manufactures ink with organic pigments chosen
for their low level of contaminants - Low VOC inks
(containing Low Volatile Organic Compounds).
Certified Paper
BPI Media Group was approved and has received our chain of custody
certification number for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and
Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI). Chain-of-custody is the path
taken by raw materials from the forest to the consumer, including
all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing, and distribution.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-profit
organization dedicated to finding solutions to the problems created
by bad forestry practices and to reward good forest management.
It's trademark provides international recognition to organizations that
support the growth of responsible forest management. Only operations that
have been independently verified for FSC chain-of-custody certification can
label their products with the FSC logo.
From a customer's perspective, the FSC label represents a promise
that BPI Media Group is conscientious in the observance of forestry
practices which we prove by using certain specific grades of paper
manufactured from timber that has been grown, managed,
and harvested under very rigid environmental protocols.

The
Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) program is based on the
premise that responsible environmental behavior and sound
business decisions can co-exist to the benefit of landowners,
manufacturers, shareholders, customers, the people they serve,
the environment, and future generations. The SFI program integrates
the perpetual growing and harvesting of trees with the protection
of wildlife, plants, soil, water, and air quality.

We offer our customers FSC and SFI certified paper. The FSC and SFI ensure that paper carrying 1
these certifications has come from forests that are managed in a responsible manner that makes

Recycling
BPI Media Group recycles all paper used in production, ink, and metal plates.
